[Artemisia] Period Field Games at Grand Outlandish XXXV

Greetings,

This year at Grand Outlandish we will be having two
competitions at period field games.

The first will be the Kubb Challenge. Kubb is a
Scandinavian stick throwing game. Teams of 2 people,
of any age, will be able to challenge each other to up
to three games of Kubb (that is, no 2 teams may play
more than 3 games against each other) The Kubb field
will be set up from 10am Friday until 4pm Sunday. The
team with the most total wins will be declared
victorious.

The second will be a Pall Mall Tournament. Pall Mall
is an early ancestor of Croquet and Golf., which will
be played using Croquet equipment. This tournament
will be played by 3 man teams (again, of any age).
Lists will open at 3pm on Friday, and the first round
will be played at 4pm. The second round will be
played at 10 am on Saturday, and the third at 4pm on
Saturday. If necessary, further rounds will be played
on Sunday.

Rules and equipment for both games will be available
on Friday morning so those who have never played can
try their hand at these games before the competitions.
