The Estrella War XXIV (Feb 12-18, 2008) approaches, and the War Staff would
like everyone to know that the February weather is predicted to be at or
below freezing at night and in the mid-60s during the day.  We recommend you

as you make plans and pack for the event.  Remember too, that the Arizona
desert climate is unpredictable, so rain and hot weather are possible as
well!

In the last month, lots of new information has been added to the Estrella
War XXIV website (www.estrellawar.org).  Here's a sample:
 
- Updated schedule of Heavy Combat scenarios to add "for fun" Open Field
Battle on Saturday, add Siege to several scenarios, define helm tape colors
for the two Allied realms, and show "starting positions" for forces in each
