<shrug> Okay, if you want to take a general post personally, I'll
respond to you in kind. In the future, if you have a personal
disagreement with another list member you might consider using e-mail
instead. Under the circumstances, this time I'll reply to your public
post instead...

Mistress Maire, please stop top-posting. What works in personal
one-on-one correspondence does not work on mailing lists, as anyone
who has been active on the 'internets' for over a decade should know
perfectly well.

While many moderators have given up the fight over proper netiquette
(to quote one individual "Today, most people just tolerate the twits
who top-post...), occasionally there are some of us who remember why
the guidelines for proper behavior were created in the first place and
feel it still has a place in this post-blog, post-twitter world. This
should come as no great surprise to you, given that I have made these
requests in the past on this very list and as a long-time member
surely you have seen my 'complaints' here.

If you have any questions regarding these rules, I refer you to the
numerous discussions on the subject. To speed your search, please
consider any of the top results when you enter 'netiquette top
posting' in most any search engine. For example, try Google -

Enjoy your research.
