*ahem* The dificulty I find with the sniffing scenario is that all the hard
work of those involved produces nothing more than fleshy masses of fungus.
Now honestly, if one takes the effort to search to the point of blindness,
one should have better results than that. There are better truffles to be
found. These are of the bean variety. Some of the comon characteristics of
such being a milky brown color and a distinct bonding with ganache and often
cream. These sublime treasures now come primarily from Africa though in
period they came exclusivly from the Americas.
