I am enjoying the stories of "prehistory". I am glad the rocks are finally a bit more solid.  
 
We are, comparatively speaking, youngsters to the game as this game. We are marking a 10 year milestone in the next couple of weeks. Estrella XIV was our very first event, our first contact with the SCA. We had never even been to a fighter practice. We were like kids in the art museum and loved every minute of it. (OK The buckets of rain and high winds on Saturday night was a a bit of a trial). We didn't wash away and the rest is history.
 
In the last 4 years we have gotten more involved at the shire level. This, I would like to add, has made all the difference. It was fun before, but is fulfilling now.......!
 
So we will see you there. Don't look for us on Merchant's Row this year. We will be hanging with CdC (probably close to the kitchen).
