For anyone traveling into Salt Lake City today -- don't. The predicted snowstorm is pounding the downtown area with vicious winds and thick snow. Visibility is about three yards at best. 
 
Sit tight for a few hours; this mess is supposed to blow over by 3 pm. Do NOT endanger yourself and your vehicle.
