[Artemisia] Fiber Activities at Hellsgate

Greetings! 
The following information is for any with an interest in the fiber arts who
are planning on attending Hellsgate Tourney in the Barony of Sentinels' Keep
on July 26th.

"Wool Gathering" at Hellsgate

On Saturday morning starting at 10 am and continuing until around noon,  Mst
Maire and Mst Gefjon will host a fiber arts discussion.  It will be a time
to share tips, ideas and techniques, ask and answer questions, and work on
what ever projects you care to bring.  The focus will be wool/animal fiber.
(preparation, carding, spinning, weaving, etc.)  All are encouraged to bring
'show and tell' items, whether they are projects or equipment.  The location
will be the large wooden pavilion on the site.  There are picnic tables and
benches, though you may want to bring a more comfortable chair. The plan is
for this to be more of a 'gathering' than a formal 'class'.

Felting Class

On Saturday afternoon, starting at 1 pm *sharp*  Mst. Gefjon will host a wet
felting class.  Participants will create a 3 dimensional purse/pouch.  If
you have washed carded wool of a type that will felt easily please bring it.
There will be a limited quantity of prepared wool available to purchase
($1.50 per oz) on site.  There will be a small fee to cover handouts. If you

Location will be announced at the gate table. Because of the time required
for this class, please gather at 12:30 so we will be ready to begin at 1:00.
