Greetings All,
The schedule is attached, and for those who do not get attachments, it
is included below. The dates for 2008 progressive clinics at the Academy
da Cavalaria are scheduled to take place on the first Saturday of each
month through October except July. Attending each clinic should greatly
enhance your overall mounted warrior skills. Out of town guests are
welcome. Overnight accommodations can be provided. Please call in advance.
Rental horses are available through SHEtherapy, a non-profit therapeutic
horseback riding program. So far there are 4 horses reserved with 7 more
available for May 24. Make checks payable to SHE, Inc., and mail them to
SHE, Inc. 8894 W. Martha Ave. Oasis, ID 83647. If you have questions,
please call Willa at 208-796-2228.
Horses are:
Hudson = eager to please, loves to joust and get in the fray.
Wm = consistent speeds, good teacher.
Dillon = a performance ham, loves to joust and get in the fray.
Scotch = retired polo horse, great in the bridle and new to the SCA.
Sabrina = retired jumper, great with leg cues and new to SCA this year.
Mouse = older gaming horse, can be quick.
Amber = an appaloosa, what else can I say?
You can use your own saddle if it fits the horse you rent, otherwise
tack is provided.
