[Artemisia] OT: "how to kill grasshoppers"

Thanks for the suggestions and the recipe.  I'll give it a try.  (anything
is worth a try)  When the little critters first appear the ground looks like
it's moving - just covered with 1/4" hoppers that quickly grow up and eat
almost everything.  They even chewed on the hops pretty good last summer!
At least they don't eat strong smelling herbs, and for the most part leave
the fruit trees alone.   

(but hey - aren't 'plagues of locust' period?)
