Item #2 SHOULD have said:
2. You can pay by money order (NOT by personal check as stated below) if you
MAIL your pre-registration by 12/30/09. Money orders are not accepted after
that (by pre-reg or at the gate).
As it says on the website: "The Front Gate will not accept personal or
corporate checks, cashier's checks, money orders, credit cards or debit
cards, and may not be able to accept $100 or $50 bills or travelers checks
unless your fees come close to that total."
So if you want to use a money order, it has to be mailed by Dec 30th.

Subject: 4 Reasons to Pre-reg for Estrella XXVI (Feb 2010)
Greetings All!
I haven't seen much said about the really cool benefits of pre-registering
for Estrella War XXVI, or for the fact that you can buy a pre-reg and give
it as a gift for the holidays.
Consider this:
1. SAVE $20: The HIGHEST price you pay to pre-reg an Adult is $20 LESS than
you pay at the gate for an adult, regardless of the day you arrive
(ADULT MEMBER: Pre-reg=$65, Gate=$85, NON-MEMBER: Pre-reg=$75, Gate=$95).
2. You can pay by personal check if you MAIL your pre-registration by
12/30/09. Personal checks are not accepted after that (by pre-reg or at the
gate).
3. Pre-registered people can get in a day earlier than people who pay at the
gate (At 8:00AM, Monday, February 8, 2010, instead of Tuesday, February 9,
2010). So you pay LESS, but get in earlier!
4. Pre-registrations can be transferred to someone else if you can't go at
the last minute. So if plans change, you can sell the pre-reg to someone who
is going, and they can use it.
