YOUTH CENTER AND ACTIVITIES
Parents and Families, are you bringing children or youth to the war (anyone
under 18)?
There are a wealth of activities designed for a variety of age-ranges.

- YOUTH AND TEEN CENTERS VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED - We need volunteers in the
Toddler Area (ages 0-4; guardian supervision required), Children Area (ages
5-10; guardian supervision required for ages 5-7), Youth Classes, Teen
Center, and Youth Challenge Program & Party. Please contact Youth Center

- DONATIONS NEEDED: The following items would be greatly appreciated: white
non-toxic school glue, glitter glue, colorful fabric scraps (minimum of 1/4
yard or larger please), duct tape (1 - 2 large rolls), white or brown craft
paper (to cover tables), Washable non-toxic markers. Please contact Lady

- YOUTH CLASSES : Offered at the Children / Youth Complex Thurs, Feb 12th
to Sun, Feb 15th.

- OPPORTUNITIES TO TEACH: classes specifically for youth ages 5-10 and 11-17
are available. The types of classes that have been taught include,
Marzipan sculptures, Candle making, Bardic classes, Kumihimo, Mosaic tiles,
Storytelling, Miniature Trebuchets and Viking Bead Necklaces.
- YOUTH CAN ALSO TEACH CLASSES TO THEIR PEERS:a fun and satisfying thing to
do, and a great way to volunteer. (Youth Teachers 9-12 of age, must have a
guardian present during the class; All Youth taught classes must have a
Youth Minister or adult volunteer in the area). So be you a teacher with
many classes under your belt or just starting out, please, please consider
volunteering to teach a class for the Youth at Estrella War.
o Please send your name (modern and sca), class title, class description,
duration of class, maximum number of students that can attend, age range for
attendees, and your availability to Lady Ilora von Neunhoff (lhopf32
@msn.com) by December 31st (classes can still be added after this date but
may not appear in the Gatebook).
- YOUTH COMBAT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO ASSIST WITH SETUP, PAPERWORK and
MARSHALING YOUTH COMBAT (all the work at Estrella is done by Volunteers!).

- MINORS NEED THE RIGHT PAPERWORK to be admitted to the event. See the

- THERE IS A MINORS CURFEW at Estrella War. Be sure everyone in your group
(adults and those under the age of 18 years old) understands the curfew

- PARENTS AND TEMPORARY GUARDIANS ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE for the behavior of
