[Artemisia] Estrella War: Ready to schedule Special Events

The Estrella War Special Events Coordinator is ready to begin scheduling
Special Events for Estrella War XXVI.



What are Special Events?  They are activities not put on by the Estrella War
staff that often require use of a particular location at the site, or
special site services, and people usually wish the event included on the
Estrella War schedule.  Examples of past Special Events include heavy
combat, rapier, and youth combat tournaments, Siege weapon competitions and
tournaments as well as archery prize shoots, hound coursing, teas, dances
and bardic performances.



To reserve a location and get a Special Event onto the Estrella War schedule
shown on the Estrella War website and in the Gatebook distributed when
people arrive at the event, you must complete the Special Events Form, and
send it to the Special Event Coordinator no later than December 24,
2009.  Remember
certain venues are very popular so get your event scheduled as soon as
possible!  Remember also that YOU are responsible for any special equipment,
tables, chairs, etc. that you will need for your Special Event!
