Greetings Artemisia!
As you are packing and preparing to leave for Uprising, please take a minute
to remind yourselves and your children about some basic camping etiquette
that people sometimes forget.

Camps are outside and informal, but they are our homes away from home and
deserve certain courtesies. For instance, you wouldn't walk into someone's
living room without knocking. The living and seating spaces around people's
pavilions are their living rooms. Please don't cut through someone's
personal space if you can go around.

Remember that pavilion walls are made of fabric. You can't see through them,
but you can hear very well, especially late at night or if you are saying
something you might regret later.

The same goes for sight. Don't do anything between the light and the tent
wall that you don't want all the kids to watch.

And don't forget to have fun.
Looking forward to seeing you all there
Caryn
