Aggie and I have been diagnosed with Swine Flu.  We are imposing a quarantine on ourselves until Sunday.

 

According to the docs, Aggie was exposed on Tuesday (when we got to Uprising for early-on) and I was exposed on Wednesday.  There is a four to five day gestation (the time between exposure and symptoms) and a 7 to 10 day duration.  Mine was diagnosed in time to recieve TammiFlu Therapy.  Aggie's was misdiagnosed as bronchitis at first, so Tammiflu would not have worked for him.  He was diagnosed too late for the Tammiflu.

 

We are both on different antibiotics and I am on albuterol in my SVN.

 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware of any flu-like symptoms.  I'm sure we have inadvertantly exposed some of you to this horrible illness.  Plus, you may have been in contact with however we were exposed.  This illness is NO FUN.

 

If you get ANY flu-like symptoms, get to a doctor IMMEDIATELY, tell them you have been exposed, and get on the Tammiflu.

 

Altho this is "just another flu strain" it is AWFUL.  I don't ever remember being this sick that I wasn't in the hospital.  SO PLEASE be vigilent.  

 

Just thought we'd better get the word out.
