[Artemisia] flu swine or not flu swine, that is the question

As many of you know, part of my problem is that the tingling of limbs, body aches, general malaise, loss of appetite, and sensitivity to temperature (i.e. chills with the slightest drop in temp) are all part of my daily life, due either to my condition or my meds. I may actually have started displaying symptoms as early as Friday of Uprising, but only the three unusual ones (let's just say "the stomach related ones" shall we?) were different enough to cause notice. As I said before, the very closeness of our Society- kissing hands and cheeks in greeting, never shake hands when a hug can be had- makes us substantially more susceptible to communicable disease. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT! Even if this case of the flu, porcine or not, proves fatal for me, I would not have missed this Uprising for it. Knowing that a good friend received one of the very rare double Peerages, and being able to congratulate him shortly afterwards; seeing my Bleidwr
and Bleidwres, and my Household niece, get their AoAs; being able to fire my beloved Page (and even knowing what was next, that was almost more than I could do) so that she could become a Lady of the Court; that same Lady choosing to become my Lady-in-Waiting, as did my Bleidwres; getting to hold my 7-month old niece for the first time, after seeing her daddy, my much loved little brother, receive the Accolade of Chivalry; and most of all, just seeing so very many friends, who were happy to see me as well. The Japanese have a saying, I'm told- Die now! Never again will you be this happy! That is how I feel at the end of events, especially Uprising. And this year, unlike last, I remember almost all of it.
Two personal notes- 1] I had the belt that Dunkr provided for Una for several weeks before Uprising, it was my duty to trim it, not his, so it isn't really his fault that the belt went around three or four times, it's mine. 2] For those nearby me at Hauk's Knighting, yes I was snoring off and on, but not because I was bored, it was the new medication I started just before Uprising. My Page and Lady-in-Waiting worked hard to keep me awake, but seeing as I normally sleep 15-20 hours a day, I'm proud to have made it TO the ceremony, as drugged as I was.
