[Artemisia] Veterans' Day

I know several of you will see this repeatedly, I apologize if it bothers you.

Today being Veterans' Day, I need to say this-

To those who have served in the past, my sincerest thanks for putting your life on the line to protect the rest of us;
To those serving now, my thanks and promise that you have my full support and appreciation;
To those young folk debating whether or not they should serve, my absolute encouragement to do so- no matter what happens, you will be a better person for it;
To those who mock or degrade those who serve, my advise that you not do so within my hearing range- old and crippled I may be, but I can still swing a mean cane;
Finally, speaking as one who has served, my deepest thanks to those who understand and appreciate that those of us who do serve are, quite literally, offering up our life to protect our nation, even those who mock and degrade us.
