Just a little Greyhound information. Please, please research adopting a Greyhound before doing so.  I would hope everyone will research any type/breed of pet they would like before adopting making sure they will fit into your life style.  
 
A Greyhound does not have the same mentality as most dogs.  A good place to start is Greyhound Pets of America and Montana has Greyhound Pets of America Rocky Mountain Chapter.  The chapters across the states and abroad, bring Greys in from the tracks that are closing.  They then see to their vet needs and get to know their personalities (ie cat or children friendly) and are very helpful to people wanting to adopted a Greyhound.
