There is also a very nice company in Edmonton, which is where we get our
stone. They carry several different types of soapstone, which is kind of
cool. They will cut to size or ship a shaped large block. As Gilliana
said, if you get pieces ask for extra padding in shipment.

I keep in stock a lot of soapstone but not much of the size that you
mention. But the very best place that I have found for this is to order
from StoneMan Distributors, in Ontario, Canada. Just google the name.
You
want the 4x4x6 brazilian soapstone blocks and ask for extra padding on
the
shipping!

I am searching for source of soapstone for creating metal
molds. I am hoping to find these in roughly paperback book
sized pieces. Good prices are really desirable too. :)
