Yes and no.
The SCA insurance does not cover the medical treatment of injuries to
participants - that is up to the injured party. The SCA insurance
does, however, protect you from being sued by the person you injured
(with some caveats and exemptions), as well as protect the
organization as a whole from the same lawsuit.

I knew it did not cover the injury itself, but I didn't remember the rest.
I need to re-read some of the insurance sections. There is a lot of misinformation that flies around when these discussions start. It is best to go to the source and read it yourself.
