as usual... this sucks... i will always remember the talks we had and how happy 
you were to discover i was a platelet donor... i will continue to donate and to 
encourage everyone who this lady has touched (if they are able) to go and donate 
either whole blood or platelets (they are currently NOT looking for women for 
platelets) and do so in her name... i think she will be thrilled...

Kind Gentles all:  It grieves me more than I can say to have to tell you that my 
loving wife of 19 years, Lady Dubessa   O'Fidhne  ( MKA Mary Ward) is dying.  As 
many of you know, Mary's leukemia came back this past winter.  She received a 
bone marrow transplant in June, and the transplant was completely successful.  
However, while she was on immunmo-suppression drugs, she acquired a viral 
infection of her brain.  This particular infectious agent is one which nobody 
survives.
