Please cross post where appropriate
Goode Cousins!
I would like to thank Mistress Tangl and Lord Eadric for this exciting opportunity to get our hands back into flowers. We have SO enjoyed this in the past.
However, I feel I must post a few "addendums" to the previous post.
Folks, I can NOT emphasize strongly enough how important it is that you PRE ORDER your prom flowers. It is a costly venture to bring fresh flowers into the field and we will not be able to do this if we don't get enough pre orders. Also, we will be bringing only what we need into the field with us. We will not be a complete flower shop. If you pre order, you have a better chance of getting your order filled as you would like it.
When we were on Merchant's Row, selling flowers, we were always told how much ambiance the flowers added to the event. I think this would be particularly true for a romantic prom-type dance.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pre order. I have a notebook next to my computer to take your order. We leave for the Uprising site on Monday morning, the 14th of June. If we don't have enough orders to justify the purchase of the wholesale flowers for the prom by the time we leave, we will have to bow out of this service.
You can place your order via email (off list, of course) and I can give you a phone number at that time if you would like to actually talk to a person about your floral needs. I can also give you our paypal address off list.
Did I mention that you REALLY need to PRE ORDER your prom flowers?
Also, the missive from Lord Eadric stated that we would take orders until noon on Friday of Uprising. This is an error. We will take orders until noon on Thursday of Uprising. But remember that there is a $2.00 "oh no!' fee if you wait till you are on site to order your flowers.
Also, we will not be able to take credit card payments on site. Cash or check only.
If there are any questions about this, please feel free to contact me off list. And remember that any profit we make on the flowers will be donated to the Kingdom Childrens' Activities fund.
The 14th of June is a mere 24 days away. Plan ahead. If you even THINK you may be going to the prom, PLEASE pre order your flowers.
PLEASE PRE ORDER.
Thank you.
As Ever,
In Service to our Shared Dream,
THL Flora of Heronton
