Hi Shauna,
Be sure and tell Angrim hello for me! He was a steady player when I started, and I enjoyed talking with him about SCA and things outside the SCA. He is indeed a wild man!
Good wishes for his quick recovery!

> Many of you reading this know that Angrim the Unreasonable (Uncle
> Grumpy) has not been doing very well for the past year or so, health-wise.
>
> This weekend he went by ambulance to the hospital, and ended up having
> the lower part of his left leg - about half-way up the calf - amputated.
> He's doing much better, and wants visitors.
>
> He's in Room 2215 at Billings Clinic (was Deaconess Hospital before the
> consolidation) and visiting hours are 8 am to 8 pm. This is in the
> Ambulatory Telemetry Unit (ATU). He is still weak, but alert, and does
> tire easily still.
>
> It'll be quite a while before he gets fitted for a prothestic, as the
> stump needs to heal and shrink first. When I told him he had gone from
> 'Grumpy' to 'Stumpy', he laughed and got that little gleam in his eye. :-)
>
> Maybe by 12th Night we can get him a peg leg and parrot, as that is what
> he asked me for today.
>
> I am not a family member, so don't have any other specific information.
> I can relay well wishes from out of town folk - email me privately so I
> can print them out for him - and in-town people are welcome to contact
> me if they need to.
