Spring Thaw
Come, join the Shire of Twae Linnes to welcome spring with an event for all.
If you enjoy weapons flying in the air or clanking together then make your
pilgrimage to Gooding Idaho on April 16. Many tourneys are planned for the day
to warm you after these cold winter days.
With many Flaming Arrows streaking across the fields and the burning throws of
axes, knives, hammers and spears of many combatants, you will welcome the ambers
that are left.
Not to be left to dull, the blazing swords from the hardsuit fighter or the
sparks of the rapiers blade will be glowing in the sun. Be on the lookout for
the feared Dragon Baronesses will be lurking this day.
There is also equestrians riders searing heads and scorching rings.
Also planned activities for the youth to spark their imaginations. To round
out the day we will have a glowing feast of German foods to fill your belly
before you leave. Site is wet.
Site opens at 10:00 am with a $8.00 site fee for adults, $ 4.00 site fee for 6
years to 16 years and under 6 are free. $24.00 family cap and $5.00 non member
surcharge.
Feast planned for 6:00 and cost is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 6 years to 16
years and under 6 are free.
If you so chose to stay till 10:00 pm feel free to participate in a game or two
for all ages.

From Interstate 84 Take exit 157 turn toward Wendell/ Gooding, Go thru Wendell
and proceed to Gooding. Staying on this road thru Gooding, over the railroad
tracks and site will be on the left.
