Definitely not the kind of publicity any group needs. The reason the SCA has such stringent Youth Program regulations for adult interaction with children is to protect against this sort of thing but no system can protect everyone all the time. Alerts like these are important to the safety of our groups and society.

Thank you, Torin, for sending this alert to us. We will continue to be vigilant when it comes to the protection of our children.

Arn Holders, please remember the SCA's policy of directing any interactions with the mundane Press to the King and Queen or the Seneschal. Topics like these can turn very ugly, very fast. Protect yourselves and the SCA and refer any questions to the Senechal's office and the Crown for the official stance.
