I understand. So was I...

Incidentally, my earlier post just expressed my personal preferences. I am well aware of considerations that make e documents an attractive choice. I am also well aware that this is the direction things are going, at least until TEOTWAWKI, when lack of consistant power precludes even that option. That will be when a nice "hardcopy" whatever, in hand, while cuddled up around a lovely woodburning stove, with oil burning lanterns, filled from the stockpile, lighting the pages with a soft, mellow light, will be the height of comfort.
May the day never come when that is the way things are...
The paranoic in me says it will. So, I continue in my anachronistic ways, by choice.

My mental dictionary has a non-pejorative version of the definition for spin
that it's possible I made up) that doesn't involve lying, obfuscation, or even
nything other than plain language, but does involve carefully presenting the
hole truth in as positive a way as possible.
Since this announcement had some positives, I just meant that they could easily
ave presented it in a much better way, but I'd say they presented it in just
bout the most negative way they could have come up with, even if they'd been
rying. In other words, it seemed to me that they did spin it—to the
egative—and that they could really use more skilled PR.
ltimately, though, I was trying (and apparently failing) to be humorous about
t.

Oh No! We DEFINATELY have enough spin doctors in the world. Don't need any more.
