Honestly, I'm not sure. The OP of Caid lists that you won the recognition
of Palentine Baroness but it doesn't list any information about what the
Baronial Label infers. I'll have to do a bit more research on it. I would
wear whatever regalia you were allowed to wear in Caid now and I will let
you know what I find out.

Subject: Re: [Artemisia] sumptuary question
Because of the relatively small size of Western Seas, and because it is a
palatine barony, it was not traditional for winners to be named a court
baron/baroness when they stepped down for fear that the islands would be
filled
with barons and baronesses, though most of those competing were the same 6-8
people every time. They received the local award of keeper of the baronial
label, which confers the right to wear the barony's device upon the
clothing,
similar, I think, to the mantle device here in Artemisia. I am mostly just
trying to find the 'correct' way to display what I have earned, learn who I
am
according to local custom and to determine what those customs are.
To answer your other question, I currently reside in Ekalaka, where I teach
high
school, and have made e-mail contact with the Incipent Shire of
Drachenfeld as
it is a mere 108 miles away, less than half the distance to Bronzehelm. I'm
looking forward to meeting them all as soon as the weather clears up. :-)
