My! What a nice idea to have a reception in honor of folks who received
awards.... that would be a wonderful idea for the rest of the groups. I will
suggest this to Stan Wyrm.. how nice. Thanks for sharing your Excellency.

Once again, Loch Salann's Awardees were congratulated with a Reception in
their Honor, and Newcomers to the Barony were welcomed to join in the
festivities, to meet the Guests of Honor, learn what their particular awards
meant, and to see that all of our Populace were Newcomers themselves at some
point.
Please join me in thanking Lady Oonaugh and Lord Dunkr for opening up their
Longhouse and hosting the Barony's Reception; and also thanking all of those who
attended, especially the several that brought extra munchies/beverages to share;
and most of all thanking Their Excellencies Anna and Ryryd for deciding to
continue the tradition, and for allowing me to be some small part of it.
AAAANNND, to make things easier should Their Excellencies decide to continue
this tradition next January, if you are a resident of Loch Salann, and you have
received either a Kingdom or Baronial award since Loch Salann Solstice Court
last month, please contact me privately with your information (i.e. your
full/correct SCA name, and the Award you recieved) at your earliest
convenience, so that I may pass a complete list to whomever is hosting the
Awardees and Newcomers Reception next year.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
