To Duck of Arn Hold and any others that were around the fire at Raptor while
I was singing songs about the Dark Age Celts,
I incorrectly gave the name of the modern retelling of the 6th century Welsh
poem Y Gododdin as The Shining Warriors. The correct title is The Shining
Company.
It was written by Rosemary Suttcliff and, while listed as a book for young
adults, is a wonderful retelling of life (and death) among the British
warriors of the 6th century in their fight against the Saxon's.
