The Barony of One Thousand Eyes has the distinct honor and pleasure of
inviting one and all to attend Their Majesties' Fall Crown Tournament to
determine the heirs to the Griffin Thrones. Come enjoy the pageantry of
the day and view the contest for the right to wear the Crowns of
Artemisia.
This will be a camping event. Site opens Friday, September 30 at 2:00pm and is closed Sunday, October 2 at 12:00 noon. For people not wishing to
camp, a variety
of hotels have been contacted and are
willing to give a discount to people mentioning they are members of the
SCA during this event. A list of participating hotels may be acquired by
contacting the Event Steward, or as a third option you may contact our Baronial Chatelaine Lady Kyri of Lyonsmarche for crash space assistance using the information listed for our Chatelaine on the baronial website here: http://www.barony1000eyes.org/BaronyOfficers.aspx.
There
will be a Kingdom Bard Competition held during feast, a Tournament
of Roses for all fighters both heavy and rapier, and a sponsored rapier tournament held on Saturday October 1st. The sponsored rapier tournament shall be a fundraiser for the Kingdom Travel
Fund as the combatants will be auctioned/sponsored at the start of the
tournament. More information will be made
available online in coming weeks, or contact the Event Steward.
No animals are allowed, service animals will be allowed only with prior approval from the Event Steward.
Merchants are welcome and encouraged to attend, and can coordinate space by contacting the Event Steward.
Site Fee: $8 per person, +$5 non-member fee. $5 for children ages 6 to 15, children 5 and under are free.
The Site is Wet.
Saturday
evening Feast: $7 per person. There will be a cap of 60 people allowed
to take part in the Saturday evening feast. Dinner menu: Cheese dip
& bruschetta with bread slices for appetizer, main course will be
roast chicken, grilled butternut squash, couscous, and wilted spinach

Kingdom
Fundraiser: A luncheon will be available at the site on Saturday for $4
per person. Chili, chicken noodle, sausage potato soup, and bread will
comprise the menu.
Site name and location: Mink Creek Group Site
Campground, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Idaho, located 12 miles
south of Pocatello, Idaho. The road to the campground is paved. The
campground has limited shade.
Directions
to Site: Take exit 63 off I-15, south of Pocatello. Follow the white on
brown "Mink Creek Recreation Area" signs to Bannock Highway (Two
miles), turn south (left) up Mink Creek Canyon. Go 7 miles south on
Bannock highway (past Bannock Guard Station) to Mink Creek Group Site
Campground. There will be signs.
Crown Tournament format: Pool fighting shall be weapon of choice, no restrictions.
Weapons for Quarter, Semi, and Final Rounds will be chosen as follows:
First round Junior ranked fighter
Second round Senior ranked fighter
Third round Junior ranked fighter
