Conquest of the Wastelands!

Shire of Bronzehelm -- 2936 N 18th Road, Worden, MT

Join the Shire of Bronzehelm as we conquer unclaimed territory at the Conquest 
of the Wastelands! Bring your best efforts to competitions of strength and will: 
hard suit, rapier, and archery tournament opportunities!

Celebrate the barbarian in you in the annual Viking Pentathlon! Bring your best 
Viking Helm to accentuate your savage side. Classes and demonstrations are 
listed below. To volunteer to teach your talent to the populace contact the 
Event Stewards.

Merchants have a welcome place in our hearts and at our event, so if you would 
like to sell your wares then please contact the Event Stewards.

Feast will be held on Saturday May 28th. Please e-mail all reservations and any 
allergies to the Feast Steward. We will be supplying soup and bread at no 
charge on the evening of Friday, May 27th for all those that arrive on that day. 
There will be a Bardic Circle with Middle-Eastern dancers to follow on Saturday 
and Sunday, so bring your drums, songs, poems, prose, and best dance moves.

We will also be having a silent auction on Sunday May 29th. All proceeds will go 
towards Relay For Life. If you wish to donate an item for auction please contact 
the Event Stewards.

Site opens at 1 PM on Friday May 27th and closes at 1 PM Monday the 30th.

Directions: The site is about 30 minutes from Billings.
From I-94, take exit 14 toward Ballantine/Worden. Turn left at W. Arrow Creek 
Rd., continue onto S. 16th Rd. Turn left at E. I Rd., take the first right onto 
S. 16th Rd. Turn right at HWY 312. From HWY 312 it is 1.9 miles to the site. You 
will  take the third left onto N. 18th Rd, then be sure to go through the 
four-way stop at N. 18 and M St. SCA signs will be posted to help travelers into 
the site. Please disregard the 'No Trespassing' sign on your way in.


Site Fee: Adult Campers $10, 4-17 years old $6, 3 and under are guests of the 
Shire.
Feast Fee: $6
Day Trip Fees: Adult $5, 4-17 years old $3, 3 and under are guests of the Shire.
$5 non-member fee applies to all adults
Please make checks out to Shire of Bronzehelm, SCA, Inc.

Site this year is private land owned by members of Bronzehelm. The following 
Rules apply:
1) This is a discreetly damp site
2) Only above-ground fires are allowed
3) Curfew for those under 15 is Full Dark
4) Well behaved furred little ones are welcome with attentive parents
5) You pack it in, you pack it out!!

   6pm: Feast-- Venison chili, chicken pot pie, smoked ham, broccoli 
casserole,apple fritters, honey
                         carrots, lots of bread, and some bread pudding.

   12pm: Class with Lady Victoria -- Basic Bellydance
