The era of the Great Crusades spanned two centuries in history, and introduced new ideas in medicine, architecture, mathematics, and numerous technological advances into the European world.
To celebrate these advancements in Arts and Sciences, the Barony of Gryphon's Lair is proud to host an Artisan's Display at Crusader Quest. The display will be held on Saturday from noon until 5PM.
Participants will be recognized for their items of Artistic Endeavor or representation of Scientific Advancements relative to the Crusader Era in the following categories:
Alchemy
Armor
Brewing
Cooking
Costuming
Glass
Heraldic Display
Historical Technology
Manuscript Arts
Musical Instrument
Needlework
Documentation should (at minimum) describe the item, the method of construction and how the Crusades advanced this art form.
This venue will allow artists to showcase their talents, receive suggestions for improvement (if they would like suggestions), and be recognized for their abilities.
