[Artemisia] awesome FREE lecture on military history at WSU Monday April 16

According to the Standard Examiner, a lecture titled "The Development of Military Equipment of the Late Medieval Period" will be presented by Randall P. Moffett.  Moffett, who is scheduled to teach a course on medieval European warfare during WSU's summer session, will discuss the way weapons were used during the medieval period and how they changed war.  A display of re-created arms and armor, as well as photographs and videos, will illustrate the lecture.
 
The lecture is Monday, April 16, and starts at 7pm in the Garden Room of the Alumni Center, 1235 E 4100 South, Ogden.
