The Board would like to thank the six Kingdoms that put time, energy, and thoughts
together to generate bids for the SCA 50 Year Celebration in 2016.  There were many
great ideas generated and it was clear that people are passionate about celebrating
our organization's 50th anniversary!

We took some extra time after our July Quarterly Meeting to thoroughly review,
evaluate and discuss all the bids.  Some of our thoughts were to make this
Celebration easily accessible and as affordable as possible for the most folks.
After careful consideration, it has been decided that the Kingdom of the Middle will
be the host of the SCA 50 Year Celebration in 2016.  We are all looking forward to
attending!
