Greetings All!
As a reminder, the Barony will be hosting our Spring Feast event on March 10 - and with it the Baronial A&S Competition to determine our next Champion!
This year I have elected to allow the current champion to compete again. Lady Vigdis is a very skilled artisan and I have little doubt that she will be successful in retaining Champion. One might even say that others wishing to compete might be wasting their time...her skill is so great! I might even claim that my Champion is the most skilled artisan in Northern Artemisia!
Doubt me? Do you believe that you can wrest the Championship from her? Then come prove it! Come and compete for Champion (if you dare)! The competition is open to all who reside within the area protected under the wings of the mighty Crane! (that is, the state of Montana)
If you choose to challenge her, then I wish you good luck and ask that you please notify HE Annys prior to March 3 (if possible) of your intent.
Additionally we will be holding our Baronial Auction to help replenish the Baronial Treasury. So if you have unused items you wish to donate, please hand them off to Lady Onora prior to Feast and we will make sure they get a good home. Also, please plan on staying until after feast for the Auction - it should prove lively! This is our main fundraiser for the year, so any donations are gladly accepted!
Also, as a reminder, the feast is a potluck. If you need assistance coming up with a period dish let me know and I'll point to to a knowledgeable assistant. We do ask that everyone attending consider bringing a dish instead of paying for feast - otherwise if everyone pays and no one brings food we might be ordering something decidedly non-period!! Please contact HE Gefjon in advance with your dish selection if possible.
Finally there will be a few classes first thing in the morning before the judging begins. A tentative class list (and current event info) will be continuously updated at www.sentinelskeep.org
Thank you all for your time and I hope to see you there!
