Merchants are free with a small item donation to the shire.  Italian feast, heavy tourney, assassination game, light tourney, prizes, bardic, classes, shire fundraiser book sale, merchants, on site crash space. Since today is Edgar Allen Poe's birthday (yes, totally out of period) it
seemed the perfect time to announce the Ghost Story Bardic at Mystery Event
in Arrow's Flight March 31, 2012. Share your favorite scary story either
original to you in the style of your favorite time and place or taken
directly from the rich storehouses of the past. Stories will be shared at
feast so please keep them family friendly. Points will be awarded for
documentation as well as for style and storytelling technique. The winner
will receive a fabulous felted belt pouch as well as a comforting stuffed
toy to help chase away the shivers brought on by their own successfully
spooky tale.

So, practice up. We'd love to hear your best legends and frightening
folktales.
