Site and Youth Center Special Bulletin!!



Greetings from Estrella War Site!



War is shaping up to be a lot of fun at our new site at Schnepf Farms.
There are some items that everyone should know to make things easier for
our attendees and the War Staff.



~ Initial entry into Site:  Though it may seem more convenient for many to
come to site from the South on Rittenhouse, please follow the instructions
on the EstrellaWar.org site.  From the South, Rittenhouse is one lane with
no left hand turn onto Combs.  There is a lot of local traffic from that
direction and that causes very long backups in addition to sitting in the
middle of the road to make a left across non-stop traffic.  When coming
from the North, once you've made the right onto Combs, Front Gate will be
immediately to the right.  If a queue for cars is necessary, please line up
on the left hand side of Combs Rd.



~ The Merchant and EMS entrance off of Rittenhouse is for Merchant and EMS
entrance only.  There will be a sign.  This gate will be locked from 10:00
pm until 6:00 am each night.  Merchants will have to enter and exit at
Front Gate after hours.



~ The North exit from Parking is exit only.  Exiting will be left hand only
on to Cloud Rd. per the request of the City of Queen Creek.  Please
remember that the folks manning that gate are volunteers who are following
the rules.  Re-entry will be through Front Gate.  The North exit will be
locked from 10:00 pm until 6:00 am.  All after hour’s exit/entry will be
through Front Gate.



~ When you arrive at your camp site to unload your gear, if you are on an
internal road, please park your vehicle either on the South or West side of
the road.  This keeps the roadway clear so that other vehicles may pass
safely by.  It is strongly suggested that you unload your gear, park your
car and then set up.  There will be shuttles running to and from Parking on
a regular basis.



~ Our friendly Towing company will be on site again this year.  Please be
courteous and responsible with your vehicles or they will be towed at your
expense.



~  Please remember, we are guests at Schnepf Farms and do not have run of
the site.  Please stay out of any areas that appear to be farm only.
Anyone found in the peach orchards or around farm employee living quarters
will be immediately ejected from site with no refund.

 Great news!
The youth activities have been expanded!
A Teen Center will be open from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday through
Saturday. There will be fire pits and movies!
Also the Youth Center hours are extended and will now be open to include
Saturday morning as well from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
Thanks to Lord Willem, KYCM, for stepping up and making this happen for our
kids!!
