Greetings!

We wanted to give you a quick update on Talon Crescent.  The War staff has
been working with a new park that has indicated that it will allow
camping; however they are still in the process of setting up their
formal guidelines for special events and do not wish to guarantee an
event until they have done so.  With that in mind, we are again going to
have Talon Crescent Festival for 2014 while plans move forward for full
scale war/camping in 2015.

Talon Crescent Festival will be February 16-17, 2014 at Floyd Lamb park in
the Las Vegas valley. Classes are being worked on for armored, rapier,
unarmored, youth, bardic and
arts & sciences.  Last year we had a full slate of activities and an
enormous amount of fighting, crafting and fun with our cousins from
Artemisia, the West, Outlands and other areas of the Knowne World.

Archery
and Thrown weapons is also being worked on.  We will have classes and
competitions similar to this year; we are also working closely with
Floyd Lamb to get permission for a full range of activities.
Please check for updates in the coming weeks at the website in addition to
the lists and the Talon Crescent facebook page.
