A&S Update:Talon Crescent Festival is this weekend, and the Arts &
Sciences are
going to ROCK! There is *so much* going on at this event! There's a full
track of brewing classes (including fruit mustards and a varietal honey
tasting), 3 kinds of dance, team-taught (Caid and Artemisia) tips on
documentation made easy, copper embossing, lucet, fiber drop-in (with
card weaving), scribal (including period pigments and a scriptorium),
the best tax-sheltered accessory of the Middle Ages (paternosters and
rosaries -- taught by "Sister Scholastica" from Artemisia), symbology in
portraits, a bead exchange, 2 bardics, Sunday morning's awesome
Artisan's Display, and much more. This in addition to the fighting
classes, including Sir Mari's Power Generation, HRM Timmur's Great Sword
techniques, rapier melees, arrow building, the thrown weapons game
Molkey and Kubb, and lots more. For more information on a specific
topic, click on the top menu bars -- some have drop down menus, some are
just clicks. Talon Crescent is going to be a blast! See you there! :-)
