[Artemisia] Quest for the Fountain of Youth

The Barony of Gryphon's Lair invites all of Artemisia to Quest for the Fountain of Youth! Their Excellencies Vilhelm and Bethany invite every member of the Kingdom to join Ponce de Leon on his quest for everlasting youth and glory on May 25th!

The Quest will focus on the myth and lore surrounding the Fountain of Youth, with stations for heavy fighting, rapier fighting, thrown weapons, and so much more. Each Quest group should consist of a heavy fighter, a rapier fighter, a youth, and a lady. The Baronial Champions will be on hand to quest with any group that requires more members. A bevy of prizes awaits any group who manages to finish the Quest and find the fabled Fountain.

In addition to the fighting during the Quest, there will be a heavy and rapier tournament during the afternoon.

There will be a fundraiser lunch of homemade sausages sponsored by the
Gryphon's Lair Cooks Guild. The cost will be $3/person. The Fountain of Youth Beauty Bar will ensure that any who didn’t find the Fountain will still look as though they did with several homemade beauty products available to make for a small donation. For those members of populace who yearn to shop, the Gryphon’s Bazaar will be selling wares from all over our fine Barony.

10:00am – site opens
10:30am – opening court
11:15am – Quest for the Fountain of Youth begins (continues all day)
12:00pm – lunch fundraiser begins
3:00pm – rapier and heavy tournaments start
6:00pm – closing court
