[Artemisia] Crown Tournament - Update

To all of the Kingdom of Artemisia does the Shire of Silver Keep send
greetings! The Spring Crown Tournament will be held in our Shire on April
5, 2014. Suitable heirs to the Gryphon Thrones will be sought on the field
on this glorious occasion, with chivalry and valor being the order of the
day! Please bring your best display of pageantry at the event with banners,
flags, and more.

The site will open at 9am, with opening court scheduled to begin promptly
at 10:30am., with the Invocation and the March of Precedence of the
entrants into this Crown List. To help expedite the process, Their
Majesties' heralds have prepared and will recite the precedence. Banners
and/or pennants are encouraged. Please be prepared to hang your banners
from rope in the hall-no nails or tacks allowed!

 The Shire will be hosting a long, laid-out lunchtime meal; donations will
be accepted for the Kingdom Fundraiser. Closing Court will follow the
Tournament and any Peer Circles their Majesties would like to occur; we
encourage our guests to take advantage of our long lunch due to a feast not
being served at this event.
The deadline for letters of intent to enter Crown Tournament are to be
received by Saturday, March 22, 2014. Letters and all required
documentation need to be received by this date, not postmarked. Their Royal
Highnesses, the Kingdom Seneschal, and Dame Meraud welcome letters to be
submitted via email, and all email addresses are listed in the Sage Advice
Regnum, or on the kingdom website. Please include: letter of intent, proof
of membership for both fighter and consort, copy of combat authorization
card for the fighter, and the entrant form for both fighter and consort
(available in the Sage Advice or on the kingdom website).

A grass lawn adjacent to the building will hold our fighting space. Please
be aware that the weather will likely be a bit chilly. The grass will be
cleared off and dry for fighting (unless it rains or snows on the day). Be
prepared to fight and watch outside! You are welcome to bring pop ups,
pavilions with stakes no longer than 10" (and do not hammer in all the
way), or any other shade/inclement weather structure. The chairs provided
with the site should stay indoors! Please bring your own chairs if you
would like to sit and watch the fighting outside.

No camping on site is permitted; however, pavilions are allowed during the
day of the event. Site is damp. Onsite water is available. Only licensed
service animals are permitted on site. Please contact the event steward at
britneymortenson at gmail.com to arrange crash space. Several hotels and
motels are within a short driving distance from the event site. There are
many types of restaurants not far from the site, for lunch or dinner.

The site is Eagle Mount Bozeman, located at 6901 Goldenstein Lane, Bozeman
MT. Directions from the East: Take the Main St. exit off Interstate 90.
Turn left onto Highland Blvd. Turn right onto Kagy Blvd. Turn left onto
South 19th Ave. Turn left onto Goldenstein. Site will be on your left.
Directions from the West: Take the 19th Ave. exit off Interstate 90.
Continue on 19th Ave for 5.5 miles. Turn left onto Goldenstein Lane. Site
will be on your left.
Site fees: Adults 15 and up, $7. Youth 6-14, $4. Children under 6 are
guests of the Shire. Family cap is $25. Please make any checks payable to
