[Artemisia] Quest for the Mary Rose

Come join the Barony 
of Gryphon’s Lair as we Quest for the Mary Rose! Teams will journey from station to station learning all they can to become a member of the 
English Royal Navy. Teams should be made up of at least 4 people, 
including a heavy fighter, a rapier fighter, a lady, and a youth. 
Stations will include fighting, calligraphy, food, thrown weapons, and 
archery, just to name a few. If you like the activities you have a 
chance to bring it home with our very special fundraiser raffle.

There will be a lunch fundraiser of Lord Jaythen's famous bacon burgers and hotdogs, sides donated by some of the best cooks in the Barony, and cookies. Cost will be $4/person. There will also be beverages for sale, $0.75/each or 2/$1.00.

HE Elizabeth Carter will be leading a dance class at 3:00pm, so come and learn the fun that is period dance!

While there are no official activities planned for heavy fighters and 
rapier fighters outside of the Quest, there is plenty of room at the 
site if people want to give their blades a workout.


The site is dry and does not allow smoking. No fire pits are allowed. Pets are very allowed, so bring your four-legged friend along to help your team with the Quest.

Site Fee: $5 (16 and up); $3 (5 to 15 YOA); under 5 YOA free; $5 NMS applies; checks payable to Barony of Gryphon's Lair

8:00am - setup (help is always welcome)
10:00am - site opens
11:00am - opening court
12:00pm - lunch fundraiser
12:30pm - Quest begins
3:00pm - dance class
5:00pm - Quest ends
6:00pm - closing court
9:00pm - site closes
