[Artemisia] Youth Combat at Uprising

It has come to my attention that my child, and probably most of Artemisia's children, are not in compliance with the Youth Combat Rules for the SCA.

PVC pipe is no longer allowed as a core for their weapons, and armor standards have changed.

If you have any doubt about whether your child and their armor and weapons are in compliance with the current rules, please go to the Society webpage and look under the Youth Combat link:

We have very little time before Uprising and I would hate to have children unable to whack their friends with "swords" because of a change in the rules.  

Children's weapons will be inspected and must be in compliance with the current SCA standards. NO EXCEPTIONS.
