[Artemisia] Coronation

Unto the populace of the Kingdom of Artemisia come words from Baroness
Sumayya bint Suleiman, Kingdom Seneschal of Artemisia,

Myself, Their Majesties and Their Highnesses have been monitoring winter
storm advisories and warnings throughout a major portion of our Kingdom for
the coming weekend.  After considerable deliberation, we agree collectively
that there is a valid and substantial concern for the safety and well-being
of the populace while travelling to the Barony of Bronzehelm for Coronation
this weekend. The winter advisories and warnings in effect are not isolated
to one area of the Kingdom.  The expected travel conditions cover portions
of three states and include areas where a large majority of our populace
will need to pass.

It is with the deepest regrets that, with the consent of the Their
Majesties and Their Highnesses of Artemisia, the decision has been made to
postpone Coronation for March 3rd.  The succession of the thrones of
Artemisia will take place at Defender Tourney in the Barony of Loch Salann
on March 10th.  Our greatest thanks go to Their Excellencies of Bronzehelm
and Loch Salann for their quick response in accomodating this unexpected
change.

We would ask the populace to bear in mind that this postponement would not
have been made if we did not feel it to be absolutely necessary.  We are
all aware of the vagaries of winter weather in our Kingdom.  Harsh weather
conditions can hit any part of our Kingdom with very little warning.  This
is a decision that is not made lightly.  It is a decision that has been
made in the interest of the greater safety of the populace.
