We welcome one and all to join us at Raptor War! Celebrations abound in the
Barony of Arn Hold. Alongside our mighty snakelike river will be a
wonderful weekend of new and old. Come help us thank the most their most
wonderful Excellency’s Gomez and Merin as they take a well-earned rest from
the duties of herding the moose. Welcome our new Baroness, HE Varia! Come
help her step forward into this role with laughter and light! Come honor
our friends and offer your words as two of our number step forward to be
recognized as the Peers that they are!
The days will be filled with activities for all interested travelers and
the nights with revelry! We will have several different Baronial
Championships to challenge your skills. (Archery, Rapier and Armored
Combat) ALL are welcome to participate, Champions will be the highest
ranking member of the Barony in each contest. Come put our Populace to the
test!!
A Note about Archery: Due to State Park rules (that just got noticed by
someone) We have moved Archery offsite. We have a permit to hold it about
1/4 mile up the road from the site on Wildlife Management land. There is
parking so those that don't want to walk can drive up to the Tournament.
Please plan accordingly.
The Tournament Du Armand will take place again this year. Come honor our
beloved Baron Armand in the tournament held in his memory.
There are rumors of assassins venturing forth to play their game (ie The
Assassin's Tourney will be happening) along with 2 classes and a small
collection of activities aimed at our young and young at heart.
Feel free to travel light with victuals, as Saturday the 24th, a sale of
beef in the Hamburg(er) style (also a small amount of hot dogs) for $5 (tax
included) will raise funds for the keeping of our Moose Herds. Cap is 165
(125 for burgers, 40 for hot dogs). Please buy your tickets at the gate.

Idaho. Site opens at 2 pm on Friday, August 24th, and everybody needs to be

*******************
In an effort to keep the event costs to a bare minimum we have elected to
have attendees pay the Park fees at the entrance directly to the State of
Idaho Parks and Recreation as they arrive. While this is atypical for an
SCA event we are doing this to allow our friends to keep their expenses to
minimum if they so desire.
