York is great!  The old city wall is still there.  The quadrillion tower in the center of town from the Notre and Bailey time.  The Cathedral with the statues of the Kings!  Great stuffing. And yes, the Shambles is very cool.

BTW my tablet has a anti-virus that has been making my posts look I 'm writing while drunk...  Sorry about that.  I really do know how to slell...  LoL

And yes Starr, the site at Battle has a -feel- to it that is unique.  I get the same feel at Conway in Wales.  VERY cool place!
