<DIV>
<DIV>In keeping with the whole "reenactment theme" of the SCA. I think we
(whomever we is) should allow crosses as site tokens. If someone objects we
should brand them a heretic and burn them. How 'bout them apples!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> OK OK just kidding. Lighten up. Please don't come at me with
fangs bared or other implements of destruction gleaming at me. It was a quick
transgression to allow everyone time to chuckle and have a good time for once.
</DIV>
<DIV> I am not sure what the big deal is. I have personal opinions about
the "political correctness" of crosses as site tokens. Whether it is expressly
forbidden by corpora or not, if it offends even one person, then it should not
be done. There are other really cool things to have as "danglies" </DIV>
<DIV> That being said, I cannot for the life of me see what a simple cross
on a silly pewter token has to say about anyone's personal beliefs or religious
persuasions. If someone gave me a Star of David, or some type of pentagram or
something like that to wear for a silly site token, I would do it.....knowing
full well that it in no way changed my beliefs, rights or sanity. </DIV>
<DIV> For the love of .............well better not use that saying, as it
may offend.</DIV>
<DIV> I think this all started over a cheap way to have site tokens, cool
looking site tokens. How about someone letting the initial writer of
the post know about other tokens that are less costly as well. Maybe something
you or an acquaintance has come up with. That would probably be a
productive way to end this whole thread.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Lets talk about other cool stuff to argue about, Lets
see......hmmmm........circlets. No?</DIV>
