worked in public, corporate, military, and academic libraries since my freshman
year in college. I’m a huge proponent of the “Give ‘Em What
They Want” Charlie Robinson philosophy and have the good fortune to work for
the most progressive and entrepreneurial library in PA, IMHO.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>I’ve been in Reference, Electronic Services, web
master, I did a local NPR radio segment about websites, medical librarian,
Internet and computer trainer, one man public library clerk, government
documents student assistant, National Network of Libraries of Medicine trainer
and exhibitor and project manager. I’ve been fortunate to have a varied
career thus far. Now I direct a staff of approx 15 professionals and
volunteers and guide our collection specialist team as well as sit on the
county leadership team. I still get to manage our horror, sci-fi/fantasy and
Adult 100s collections. (We’re a Dewey library not an LC library.) They’ll
have to pry those treat duties from my cold, dead hands. ;-)<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
