Well I suspect that those people that don't like what the SCA is or what is is becoming, are partially responsible for all the other various factions 
and groups that concentrate on *real* history, and not history *as it should have been*, as the SCA presents it.

The SCA is not a re-enactment group. It's only based loosely on what really happened pre 17th century.

Having said that, for those of us in the SCA, we can all decide to just have fun in our own little corner of it, try to provide an example....mostly 
by example, and keeping most of our opinions behind our teeth. (something I'm not good at).

There's alot in the SCA that I don't like..... but there is a lot I do like. Gee, just like real life.
