Her Excellency has words of wisdom for her populace that her humble servant 
Meraud is extremely tardy in posting and I sincerly apologize for the 
lateness of the missive.

Rules of the Courting Castle

1. No more than 5 minutes. If you can't get her out by then, your dead 
anyway.
2. Must address the consort by name. If you don't know it, you had better 
find out before you try.
3. Gifts are a perfectly acceptable form of wooing. Just don't get to
extravagant.
4. Bribing the guardsman and carrying off the consort forcibly is 
acceptable, as long as the consort is willing.
5. No re-creation of certain theatre scenes...i.e. Streetcar Named Desire. 
Anyone doing a Marlon Brando impersonation, falling to his knees, ripping 
his shirt and yelling "Stella" will just be booed off.

Anyone interested in being courted needs to remember to bring a favor to 
bestow upon your champion for the day.

Most important, have a good time with this. Use it as a demonstration of 
your suaveness, your creativity, your irresistibleness to consorts.
