To the people in these great lands of Artemisia, do I Bethoc your humble servant bring greetings and a message:

As you may be aware, there brews a conflict in these lands between two noble barons, their excellencies Ulric and Thorvald which centers around ownership of a certain relic found by a team of Loch Salann prospectors secretly searching in the lands of Arrows Flight. These two fearsome barons give a call to WAR - to determine who by right of combat and skill in the gentle arts will be allowed to lay claim to this relic. Their Excellencies call upon their cousins from the North, the South, the East and the West to come to their aid in this great battle. In addition to melee combat for the relic, individual prize tourneys will be held in both heavy and rapier, as well as a boffer tourney for the youth.

In addition to combat related activities, the Iron Thread Competition returns to once again to challenge the skill of our great clotheirs (rules have been published on the web site). We will also host an Arts and Sciences 'display' to demonstrate the great talents of our artisans . Entries of all types and skill level are welcome, each participant will earn war points for their respective barons. During the evening hours we will enjoy the bardic talents of our artisans, including a family bardic on Saturday evening, led by none other than Master Corwin from Grypons Lair. Throughout the weekend, our lovely youth minister Lady Aurora will also
be providing many many fun filled activities for the youth. A volunteer bag raffle will occur, to thank the many volunteers without whom an event of this size would not be possible - extra raffle tickets will be given to those who sign up in advance for specific duties (and of course perform them)
